Doris Day - Que Sera Sera

We were at a wedding celebration last night. Congratulations Mike and Lisa!
Watching the dance between the newly married couple and then the daddy daughter dance was a bit sentimental. It got me thinking about the phases of life and how we don't see the whole picture (we only see in part). Praying for longevity for my neice and her husband. Also had the opportunity to see another neice, pregnant with her first child. It is intriguing to see life and bits of the future unfold. Samantha and Tyler are told they will have a little girl and they have chosen her name, Paige. It's obvious she's growing within her mother's womb. It's a beautiful thing.
Having been in that enviroment last night I woke up thinking about Doris Day this morning and this song she use to sing.
We don't know wha the future holds for us, though  in Jeremiah there is a promise held out to us that says: He knows the plans He has for us, plans of a hope and a future plans to prosper us and not harm us.  AND in Romans I am reminded that when life gets difficult I can be assured that; He works all things out for the good of those who love Him and are called to His purpose.

  2. Orrin Belcher My mom would play this song on a RCA Victor Record Player when she cleaned house when I was young. It brought back those memories instantly, they were fun times. It is a fun song with a neat little message

  3. Nice! Love what you are doing! I'll have to figure out how to do this and Journal this way for my grandchildren to read some day. Not enough of us sit around talking about our past in order for the young ones to know where we came from... about the faith that pulled us through the tough times and the gratitude we had in the good times! Bravo!
